About Me

My name is Richard Marriott and I first developed an interest in photography when I was around 8 years old, constantly asking my father for his Nikon SLR. I would go through films by the dozen enjoying every minute.

As I grew older I started to understand the importance of light and how it changed each potential image, and I learned how to use this to create stunning landscapes.

I was given my first Canon for my 14th birthday and started to photograph friends on skateboards and local bands. It was during this time that I figured out that each time I pressed the shutter I was capturing a moment that otherwise would be forgotten over time and so I decided that I wanted to be a professional photographer.

Since then I have specialized in Weddings, Pet Portraits and Commercial photography around my home town of Rotherham and South Yorkshire and I have enjoyed every single photograph.
